During my internship at Lucy in Brussels, I was assigned each week to explore different designers or design companies and create a piece inspired by their style and design principles. For one project, I chose the freelance designer Wedzicka, known for her distinctive poster designs.

Wedzicka’s work features bold geometric shapes, vibrant color palettes, and strong typographic elements. She blends minimalism with maximalism, using simple forms and clean lines alongside complex patterns and vivid contrasts. Her design principles focus on clarity, impactful visual hierarchy, and experimental layouts.

Inspired by these elements and the upcoming Christmas season, I created a poster with a festive theme. The design incorporates Wedzicka’s signature style, using geometric forms and dynamic colors to produce a visually striking and holiday-appropriate piece.
