Branding for car detailing products

Duvel Branding tasked us with developing a unique brand identity for auto detailing products, which are sold through an online webshop. The goal was to create a bold and distinctive brand that would stand out in the competitive car detailing market.

​

To achieve this, we conducted research on popular competitors to understand their branding strategies. Based on our findings, we chose a modern font and a vibrant color palette to infuse the brand with a playful and dynamic personality. We aimed for an abstract design to ensure the brand conveyed quality and sophistication, avoiding a cheap or overly simplistic appearance.

Our design features a bold font and strategic use of color, complemented by minimal graphic elements. This approach helps differentiate the various products within the auto detailing range, making it easier for customers to identify and choose what they need at a glance. Unlike existing brands, which often require customers to read detailed descriptions to understand the product, our design prioritizes clarity and ease of use.

In a time when cars are designed for the long haul, we're all about maintaining and enhancing not just  your vehicle but your personal image. Our bold and playful spirit shines through in every quality  product we offer, making car detailing an enjoyable and transformative experience.

 

We understand that a well-kept car isn't just about its appearance; it's a mirror reflecting your values.

 

Together, we'll ensure your ride leaves a lasting impression, mirroring the quality, style, and attention  to detail that are all part of who you are. Your car, your personality, and your impression – they all  come together seamlessly.

Logo design:

Our tagline, "Your Car, Your Reflection," inspired the design of our logo, where we incorporated reflections within the letters 'q' and 'p'. The 'q' symbolizes quality, while the 'p' represents products.

 

To further enhance the branding, the three 'e's in the logo change color based on the specific product, adding a dynamic element to the design.

 

This colorful transformation of the 'e's evokes the sensation of cleaning a mirror or window, reinforcing the theme of reflection and clarity.

Our color palette consists of four distinct colors, each with a darker shade, carefully selected to differentiate the various auto detailing products.

We chose bright and bold colors to stand out in the industry, where vibrant hues are commonly used. This approach not only aligns with industry norms but also helps avoid a generic appearance that could be mistaken for a different sector, such as hairdressing.

By using these dynamic colors, we make it easier for customers to identify and choose the right products quickly.

Each color variation helps to clearly distinguish between different products, enhancing the overall user experience and reinforcing the brand's unique identity in the competitive car detailing market.

To improve user experience and solidify our brand identity, we paired graphic elements with a vibrant color palette. These visuals clearly differentiate our products, making them easy to identify.

 

For example, a foam graphic highlights products that generate effective foam, ensuring clarity and enhancing our brand's impact in the car detailing market.
